Sean Riskowitz has resigned as CEO of insurance-focused investment holding company Conduit Capital.

In a statement on Friday the company said Riskowitz will be replaced by the leader of one of its fully owned subsidiaries for now.

“The board would like to express its gratitude to Mr Riskowitz for planting the seeds of the new Constantia over the last seven years, and for his valuable contribution as an executive and director of Conduit,” the company said without elaborating on Riskowitz’s resignation.

Peter Todd, who became the CEO of fully owned subsidiary Constantia Group in February 2020, will take the helm on an interim basis and maintain his position at Constantia Group.

The share price of Conduit Capital was down 2.5% to 39c by the JSE’s close on Friday, giving the company a market capitalisation of R298m.
