African Rainbow Minerals (ARM), the diversified miner chaired by Patrice Motsepe, has announced that Michael Arnold, its finance head and non-executive director will step down as part of a board reshuffle.
The board has appointed Brian Kennedy as a member of the investment and technical committee, effective October 5.
Kennedy joints ARM from Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking where he was a managing executive.
Arnold was the finance director for eight years and a non-executive director for five.
Luthando Mkatshana will also step down as executive director on the board, but remains CEO of ARM Platinum.
Mkatshana and Arnold will vacate their respective positions after the group’s AGM.
Komope Maditsi will remain a board member, but is standing down from the audit and risk committee.
