Sandton-based Armoured Mobility has introduced an armouring package for the Porsche Panamera Turbo, said to be the first of its kind in SA.
The B6 armour provides protection against high-calibre rifles such as the AK47, R1, and R5 without compromising on the German sports sedan’s style or performance, says the company.
The anti-hijacking package is constructed with precision and fortified with cutting-edge ballistic materials and includes a reinforced sunroof, intercom system and runflat steel band tyres.
The package costs R1,399,900 (excluding VAT and the price of the car) and takes 12 weeks. The Porsche warranty is voided but Armoured Mobility offers a five-year warranty on the ballistic glass and a two-year warranty on our workmanship.
