With Volkswagen returning to the Festival of Motoring after a five-year hiatus, the company has announced that visitors to the show taking place from August 30-September 1 will be the first to witness the new T-Cross and Tiguan.
The visually and technically enhanced models feature new dash panels with higher-quality surfaces and new infotainment systems. Both models officially go on sale in September but order books for both will be open at the show.
The brand says visitors will also get up close and personal with other new ranges, including the newly refreshed Polo Vivo, new Touareg and the full-electric ID.4 SUV which the brand plans to sell from 2026.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will be in the 4x4 Village displaying the ID. Buzz (long-wheel base) — the electric essence of the minibus range. The Crafter and Amarok will also be in the VW commercial mix.
Visitors also stand a chance to get on the track to experience some of the new cars while Volkswagen Motorsport drivers will be on hand to give visitors rides in a Super Cup racing Polo.
Other family activities include simulator competitions, children’ sand art fun and Volkswagen merchandise will be on sale.
