How did you end up where you are today?
My passion for cars was inspired by my late paternal grandfather, Stoffol Nkoko Leeto, who nurtured my dream and even gifted me a 1972 Fiat 124 to help me understand the workings of a four-stroke combustion engine. This early exposure ignited a lifelong love for automobiles, leading me to pursue a career in the automotive industry.
My beautiful wife and I established MotorFlux, where I provide high-quality vehicle repair, maintenance and performance services.
What makes you good at what you do?
My strengths lie in diagnosing and solving complex vehicle issues, specialising in engine overhauls, diagnostics and performance enhancements. At MotorFlux, I prioritise quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, ensuring reliable and high-performance vehicle solutions. I stay ahead by continuously learning and adapting to new automotive technologies.
Who would be your typical client?
My typical clients are everyday vehicle owners, car enthusiasts, fleet and business owners, and those needing expert diagnostics. They are looking for reliable repairs, performance upgrades and quality vehicle maintenance.
What do you love about the work you do?
I love my work because it combines passion, problem-solving and continuous learning. Fixing cars, enhancing performance and helping clients drive with confidence is truly rewarding. I enjoy the challenge of diagnostics, staying updated with new technologies and making a real difference to vehicle reliability and efficiency.
What did you do when you were a child?
As a child I spent a lot of time around cars, thanks to my late grandfather. I was always curious about how things worked, often taking apart and reassembling mechanical parts. I enjoyed fixing bicycles, small engines, anything I could get my hands on, which helped build my technical skills from a young age.
I did this because I was fascinated by machines and how they functioned. That early hands-on experience shaped my passion for the automotive industry and led me to where I am today.
What do you look for when recruiting for your team?
When recruiting, I look for passionate technicians who genuinely love working on cars. Beyond skills and experience, I value dedication, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn.
